Karolina is an extremely nice and sensitive girl. She has musical talent, although sometimes her lack of confidence makes her stay in the background. Certainly, the beginnings of her childhood have contributed to the fact that Karolina is still struggling with many emotional difficulties. The girl did not reach the adoptive family until the age of six, after a long adoption period. In addition to the difficult experiences that the girl had to face, there is also the disease – Partial Alcoholic Fetal Syndrome (pFAS), which significantly hinders the normal life of a teenager and is also often a reason for jokes and abuse for the part of peers. Karolina is currently 14 years old and should fully enjoy her youth, establish close relationships with peer, develop and fulfill her dreams. In the face of problems associated with early experiences and those caused by her illness, this is unfortunately significantly hindered and limited. Karolina is aware of her weaknesses, which strongly increases her sense of helplessness and lack of self-confidence. Most of the obstacles that we face every day, become much smaller and easier to overcome, if only someone shows us their kindness and support, therefore, all help – a smile, a small gesture, a good word or a financial donation, will undoubtedly be a great opportunity and motivation for Karolina to fight for herself.
